Athletics

Bent on Learning

Provides yoga classes to kids in grades K-12 in public schools and youth centers in Manhattan, Brooklyn and the South Bronx. Each class is 40 minutes to an hour and a half with an average of 15 students per class. Because many New York City public schools do not have a gym, classes are often held in the classroom with the desks pushed aside.

Catholic Youth Organization

Organizes parish-based sports and activities for boys and girls, ages 8 to 20 in Brooklyn & Queens. Activities include: basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, swimming, track and volleyball. The season runs from September through June.
